Methodology
The operational definitions behind every number we publish. If a term isn't defined here, we don't use it in a public claim.
Monitored
the company's own career site / ATS board, scraped on a recurring schedule. "Monitored since" is the date we first found the board.
Live posting
a req present on the company's own board at our last completed scan.
Closed
a req that disappeared from the company's own board between two observed scans. We record the scan that noticed it and why. We do not use the word "closed" for anything we didn't observe directly.
Days open
the days between a req's first observation and the scan that observed its closure (for live reqs: days since first observation).
Repost
a req opening whose title matches a req that closed at the same company within the prior 270 days. A repost is a measured pattern, not a claim about intent.
Verified coverage
we publish a company only when our coverage checks resolve to "we saw jobs" or "we verified an empty board." Companies where we cannot prove full visibility are excluded from every public number — "we didn't look" is never allowed to become "nothing happened."
Zero-close company
a company with 5+ live postings and no observed closure in 90 days. Reported as the observation it is; we do not assert why.
